The reservations concern the purchase, also through leasing, of vehicles made starting from 25 May 2024, the date of entry into force of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 20 May which remodeled the old incentives and distributed the dowry of 950 million. And until December 31, 2024.
In particular, with a notice published on the platform, Mimit specified that dealers can book incentives relating to cars and those for commercial vehicles, motorcycles, scooters, tricycles and light quadricycles starting from 10am on 3 June. Instead, as regards the purchase of cars to be used for the taxi service or rental with driver (with contributions doubled for those who win the extraordinary competition for the issuing of new taxi licenses and those who replace the company car) and the incentive for the For the installation of LPG and methane systems on cars, the dates and methods for booking will be made known with a subsequent notice.
The procedure and constraints for maintaining the vehicle
From 10am on 3 June, dealers can enter the data relating to the vehicle purchase order, including the indication of the deposit paid, obtaining, depending on the availability of resources, a booking registration receipt. The dealer recognizes the contribution to the buyer as a discount and is then reimbursed by the manufacturer or importer. The latter will recover the sum as a tax credit. In all, the Prime Ministerial Decree puts 950 million into circulation for the various incentives provided. The reservation must be completed, with registration, within 270 days. On the platform you can download the form with the declaration of acknowledgment of retention of ownership of the purchased vehicle for at least 12 months in the case of natural persons and for at least 24 months for legal persons. Also available for commercial vehicles is the form for the declaration in lieu of an affidavit relating to possession of the SME requirements and the form for the certification relating to the carrying out of transport activities for goods on one’s own account or on behalf of third parties. Finally, on the site there is also the form with the substitute declaration made by the buyer certifying the ISEE value of the family unit of less than 30 thousand euros, necessary if you want to take advantage of the 25 percent increase.
Contributions for cars
The new version of the ecobonus – also open to legal entities – is based on higher amounts for those who scrap older, therefore more polluting cars, and choose a new electrically powered vehicle. Then, progressively, the values drop. The contribution range for cars ranges from 1,500 to 11 thousand euros, which can be increased by 25% if the buyer’s family unit has an ISEE of less than 30 thousand euros.
In the absence of scrapping, for cars there is a contribution of 6 thousand euros in the 0-20 range, 4 thousand in the 21-60 range while there is no bonus in the third emissions category. The amount increases progressively if it is scrapped, based on how old and therefore polluting the vehicle is. By scrapping a Euro 4 you will be able to benefit from 9 thousand euros in the 0-20 range, 5,500 in the 21-60 range and 1,500 in the 61-135 range. With a Euro 3 you go to 10 thousand euros, 6 thousand and 2 thousand euros. With a Euro 0, 1 or 2 there is a jump, respectively, to 11 thousand euros, 8 thousand and 3 thousand euros. For all these incentives there is a maximum price threshold for the model that can be purchased, excluding VAT, set at 35 thousand euros in the emission bands 0-20 and 61-135 and at 45 thousand euros in the intermediate 21-60 band. In the case of the first two emission bands, the 25% increase is applied for individual members of a family unit with ISEE under 30 thousand euros, therefore reaching up to 13,500 euros for electric cars. For low incomes there is also the possibility of accessing by scrapping a Euro 5 and in this case the bonus is 8 thousand euros in the 0-20 range and 5 thousand in the 21-60 range. Used cars are also supported, Euro 6 with emissions of up to 160g/km of CO2 and a price of up to 25 thousand euros: the incentive to purchase them is 2 thousand euros by scrapping a vehicle from Euro 0 to Euro 4. Motorcycles, vans, rental For motorbikes, scooters, tricycles and electric quadricycles, the contribution is 30% up to 3 thousand euros. It goes to 40% (up to 4 thousand euros) with scrapping of a vehicle from Euro 0 to Euro 3. For non-electric models, up to Euro 5, a discount of 40% up to 2,500 euros but only on condition that the seller practices an additional reduction of at least 5% and that a vehicle from Euro 0 to Euro 3 is scrapped.
