«We were in crisis, we no longer understood each other. Now I’m ready to become a mother”

Crisis overcome. Fortunately. Between Giulia Salemi and its Pierpaolo Pretelli love has returned, the light after a period of darkness. A love that blossomed three years ago, inside the Big Brother VIP house. A love made of ups and downs.

And Giulia doesn’t hide. «We have gone through a profound crisis, after all we know, in a relationship there are always three phases: the initial enthusiasm, the stagnation which allows us to lay the foundations for what will be, and the crisis. We faced the latter.”

But what happened between Giulia and Pierpaolo? She tells it again: «Suddenly we didn’t understand each other. When you don’t feel fulfilled and gratified it’s easy to take out your nervousness and frustration on the person next to you and for this reason at a certain point we asked ourselves how to solve our problems. We had two paths: come out victorious or defeated.”

It was their victory. The largest. But how did they do it? Talking to each other. «We understood that if there was something wrong we needed to say it immediately and apologize. In the past, moreover, we had accumulated a lot of stress and responded badly to it, and this had led us to suffer. Thus, little by little, the crisis receded.”

A story lived at hundred miles per hour. From the beginning. When they met on Alfonso Signorini’s show, Giulia emerged from a story with the SuperBike champion Andrea Iannonewhile Pierpaolo was still suffering from the end of his relationship with Ariadna Romerothe mother of his son Leonardo, who was just four years old at the time.

Now it’s just the two of them. «Now we have promised ourselves that we will no longer vent what is wrong in our lives on each other: if we make mistakes we apologize, we hug each other and we start from there. I understood that I really need Pierpaolo, after all he manages to fill that void, that lack of love I had when I was little.”

A difficult childhood due to the separation of his parents. Not a simple separation. Not at all. But «thanks to Pierpaolo I have grown as a woman, now I feel older, more mature. And therefore also ready to become a mother, ready to give birth to a child. When the time is right it will happen and I will be the happiest person in the world.”
