“There has been a lot of talk about the flood in recent days, both for the anniversary of the tragic event and for the violent rains that flooded the city in recent days. After more than a year, unfortunately we still have to record numerous critical issues”: he opens thus a note yesterday from the 5 Star Movement of Forlì, which contests the actions of both the government and the municipal council.
“Let’s start with the compensation. The president of the council Giorgia Meloni – say the representative of the territorial group Sergio Petroncini and the outgoing municipal councilor Eros Brunelli – and with her the entire Zattini council have repeatedly announced 100% of the reimbursements for the families affected. The reality is very far away; some families such as tenants did not even receive the CIS, i.e. the 3,000 euros allocated in the initial phase. The Region’s ordinance was incomplete, but the Municipality could have easily remedied it since it involved only a few families and with a modest allocation. hoc we would not have had citizens of series A and others of B”.
Furthermore, the five-star members are getting more expensive with reimbursements for destroyed cars, “i.e. 5,000 euros per family unit. Here too, let’s not say that the cars have been paid off. Most families have lost at least two of them. With 5,000 euros you can’t buy certainly a new car, but we have the impression that in the upper echelons of the government it is taken for granted that with these reimbursements we are okay.”
Criticism then of the Sphinx platform, “the latest disaster of Commissioner Figliuolo and the government that appointed him. An ordeal to access it and in fact very few questions, always with the fear of being able to do something wrong. The situation is no better for the implementation security of the territory. A violent downpour was enough to make half the city go under water. The next administration will have to give very different signals and instead of focusing on lights, statues and shelters it will have to demonstrate concreteness, intelligence and closeness to the citizens”.
The 5 Star Movement concludes by saying that “we demonstrated this closeness when we were the first to denounce in July the shameful situation of the Acer houses in via Acquaparco at the time, with many invalids walled up alive in the house due to the lack of a lift, and with the generous donation of one million euros from our parliamentarians to the affected populations, 330,000 of which to our city. We will continue to be close to the flood victims and alongside Graziano Rinaldini, who we want to lead our Forlì for the next five years”.
