The Kenshukai Shito Ryu of Agrate Conturbia participates in the National FESIK CSI Agonists Championship with three athletes, managing to obtain important results in the most complex categories of the competition held from 17 to 19 May at the Parlaterme Montecatini Terme (PT) with more than 1000 registered athletes and 110 sports clubs.
The successes
“Ours is a small sports association compared to others but, despite this, the results have arrived and are only concrete proof that there has been a clear increase in the technical and athletic maturity of the individual athletes thanks to their dedication and passion.” states M. Daniele Invernizzi.
Excellent competition performances for Giacomo Casazza in the Senior categories (21-35 years) where he achieved notable spoils by excelling against the best athletes of the federation: two important gold medals and two silver medals in both Kata and Kumite. For Lorenzo Quirighetti and Davide Signorini important placings with a notable improvement, after last year’s debut in the Cadetti (15-17 years) they both managed to get on the podium both in the Kata Shito Ryu category and in the All Styles.
In these categories the technical level of the participating athletes was decidedly high, giving the possibility of a very stimulating and enriching competitive match.
The athlete Filippo Casazza was unable to be present due to an injury a few days before the race.
Now we celebrate the medals obtained with satisfaction, but with thoughts already towards the next objectives.
