The subjects of the golden spears will be presented on Friday 17 May at 9.15pm of the two 2024 editions of the Giostra del Saracino. It will be the neighborhood of Porta Santo Spiritothis year, to host the event traditionally organized by the Arezzo Historical Society in collaboration with the Cultural and Tourist Policies Office – Giostra del Saracino of the Municipality of Arezzo and the Districts.
The trophy of Giostra di San Donato which will take place on Saturday 22 June at 9.30 pm will be dedicated to Giorgio Vasari in the 450 years of his death and his figure the historian will speak Michele Loffredo.
The golden spear of Carousel of the Madonna del Conforto, scheduled Sunday 1 Septemberit will be instead dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the Stigmata of Saint Francis which the historian will talk about Pierluigi Licciardello.
The meeting, open to citizens, will end with a debate in which all those present will be able to participate. The meeting will be chaired by the rector of the Porta Santo Spirito district Giacomo Magi and the president of the Arezzo Historical Society Luca Berti.
