Massimiliano Allegriwith a statement released by his lawyer, Paolo Rodella, to ANSA, “completely denies” the reconstruction of the events that occurred in the Olimpico tunnel with the director of Tuttosport, Guido Vaciago, and specifies that it was simply “a heated verbal altercation with the director, due to the excitement of the moment, during which they both insulted each other out loud”. This is the full text of the declaration. “With reference to the statements – reported in some press outlets – by the director of TuttoSport Guido Vaciago, according to which Massimiliano Allegri, at the end of the Italian Cup final Atalanta-Juventus yesterday evening 15 May 2024, behaved towards him highly offensive as well as threatening, even pushing and pulling him, my client completely denies this reconstruction of the facts and intends to point out that he simply had a heated verbal altercation with the Director, due to the excitement of the moment, during which they both insulted each other aloud”.
“No push, no tug and, much less, no threat to the director – continues the note – Any different reconstruction and/or description of the facts is false and is appreciated, purely and simply, for poorly concealed, specious and unfounded purposes .
