It is one of the most important and qualified presences in the Codeway 2024 edition, the international cooperation and development event which takes place from 15 to 17 May at the Fiera di Roma. That will be the opportunity to chart a new path towards sustainability and socioeconomic growth. An annual event to support companies operating in the field of cooperation and development, to broaden the involvement of SMEs in international cooperation projects promoted by Italian institutions. The macro-themes of this 2024 edition concern health and healthcare, agrifood and food safety, infrastructure, ecological transition, training and new generations.
“Codeway” offers various opportunities to companies, with the possibility of developing a new business in the context of international cooperation programs, joining special B2B programs and getting in touch with buyers and potential international partners from target countries, meeting national institutions and local and international stakeholders. To promote these objectives, the Lazio Region hosts, at its exhibition stand, 27 Lazio companies, selected through a tender managed by Lazio Innova, which are interested in developing contacts and collaboration opportunities in the world of international cooperation.

Among the many events that will see Lazio as the protagonist of the international fair dedicated to for-profit cooperation, we highlight today’s conference, Wednesday 15 May, entitled “Opportunities for the private sector in the new global scenarios of development cooperation” with the participation of Lorenzo Tagliavanti, president of the Rome Chamber of Commerce; Edmondo Cirielli, deputy foreign minister with responsibility for international cooperation; Roberta Angelilli, vice president of the Lazio Region; Marco Rago, legal advisor to the minister for economic diplomacy and development; Marco Riccardo Rusconi, general director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.
Thursday 16 May, at the Conference of the Regions area, appointment with the panel coordinated by the Lazio Region entitled “Health, Cooperation and Research”, with the participation of the Veneto, Friuli Venezia-Giulia and Emilia-Romagna regions.
