HOCKEY A1 – The Centro Porsche Firenze VH Forte qualifies for the roller hockey Scudetto Final. Alessandro Bertolucci’s rossoblu reached the highest level of the playoffs for the ninth time in the last ten editions, beating Lodi 3-0 at the Palacastellotti and closing the semi-final series at 3-1. Forte who has to miss out due to injury to striker Federico Ambrosio, but also to Francisco Ipinazar who is stopped in the pits with a strain. Two fundamental pieces for the rossoblù who measured the energy of the six external players well. Lodi, supported by their fans who exhausted the Palacastellotti, immediately looked for the advantage but were unable to breach the goal of an amazing Riccardo Gnata, who on at least six occasions showed off interventions like a true champion. A slight flaw in the Lombard defense allowed Enric Torner to score the goal to give Forte Marmino the lead almost at the end of the first half. In the second half, the experience of Pedro Gil and Torner, with the dexterity of Compagno, allowed them to manage the advantage. Amatori Wasken Lodi looked for an equalizer, but it was Forte who scored the second goal with Pedro Gil’s counterattack, served by Compagno. Until the end, the winners of the regular season and the Italian Cup kept Gnata’s goal clean. The third goal was scored by Francesco Rossi following a pass from Torner, still on the counterattack. Appointment on Saturday 25th May for game 1 of the championship final at the PalaDante in Trissino while game 2, Tuesday 28th May and game 3 on Saturday 1st June will be played at the PalaForte.
