This is how the media and Italian football travel hand in hand: the “bad” news on the front page, the “good” news ignored.
The news is not exactly “fresh” (published in Luxembourg on 12 April) but in our area it was launched in the Corsera on Tuesday 14 May thanks to my colleague Arianna Ravelli who found the order with which the Luxembourg court “archived ” the investigation, opened at the instigation of the two Blue Skye shareholders who were demanding a greater return on their share sold during the change of ownership from Elliott to RedBird of Milan.
The good news doesn’t turn on…
In other times, with perhaps different outcomes, a possible negative conclusion for the Milan shareholder would have sparked the interest of the media and social networks as well as of apprentice princes of the bar.
And instead after the Corsera exclusive, zero comments and zero debates. Especially if naturally linked to the fact that the matter, archived in Luxembourg, is identical to that which pushed the Milan prosecutor’s office to open an investigation (with Gazidis and Furlani investigated for incorrect communications about the owner of the club).
