After three days of agony, without ever regaining consciousness, one of the three people who were in the passenger compartment of a BMW died on Saturday evening 11 May at 8.40pm in via della Croce in Cervarese Santa Croce. Her clinical picture immediately appeared desperate. After emergency hospitalization in Padua with a reserved prognosis, today 14 May in the early hours of the morning the heart of Valentina Renso, 26 years old from San Giovanni Lupatoto (Verona) stopped beating. The injuries sustained in the terrible impact were too serious. However, her friend residing in Limena remains hospitalized in Padua, while the second woman in Saonara’s car, after treatment in the emergency room in Abano immediately after the crash, was discharged.
The accident
On Saturday evening the firefighters intervened in Via della Croce in the municipality of Cervarese Santa Croce to rescue three young people who ended up with an off-road car. The firefighters, who arrived from Abano Terme, first made the car safe and then extracted two women and a man who were stuck inside the passenger compartment of the car, a BMW. The accident occurred on a straight stretch of Via della Croce, on the border between the municipalities of Cervarese and Teolo. The accident was investigated by the Carabinieri of the Abano Company. It is yet another fatal road accident that occurs on the roads of the province of Padua.
