Zero limestone returns to Genoa, and does so with a double appointment: a signs copies (with the ritual ‘drawing’) to the bookshop Feltrinelli in via Ceccardi and a meeting at the publisher Michele Foschini at the Hall of the Great Council of the Doge’s Palace. Both events are organized on the occasion of the release of the new book by Michele Rechreal name of the Roman author, entitled “When you die, it remains with me”: a work focused on the inability that male family figures have to communicate with each other. The story of a father and son trip to the Dolomites, the birthplace of the family of origin, which fails to take off due to the two’s problems in dealing with important topics; things become further complicated when they realize that their presence is not welcome in the town: the reasons for the hatred arise before the Great War, and are linked to “Merman’s day”, one of the episodes of Calcare’s childhood shrouded in mystery . A story in which the author forces himself to look in the mirror and makes no concessions in telling what he sees.
Zerocalcare will be in the Genoese bookshop starting from 3pm. The organization specifies that starting from this morning, passes are being distributed in a limited number to participate in the copy signing: only one pass per person is foreseen, until stocks last. Each pass will have a written time to show up at the bookstore.
Pass from 3pm to 6pm: a single drawing of a Zerocalcare character each; in the case of multiple volumes, the others will be signed by the author. It is possible to bring Zerocalcare books from home for the copy signing.
Pass from 6pm to 7.30pm: Zerocalcare will sign exclusively with its iconic armadillo. Access to the copy firm is available to pass holders.
The chat scheduled at the Palazzo Ducale will begin at 8pm and is free and free to enter, subject to capacity in the location.
