A great party to celebrate the environment and the desire to “create community”. Yesterday, Sunday 12 May, over 200 people – young people, children and families – found themselves united at Per (Rubicone Ecological Park) in Savignano sul Rubicone (Fiumicino area). A large green lung a stone’s throw from the river, with 30 thousand square meters of countryside and new wooded areas, 110 vegetable gardens, a natural forest with 700 plants, an area with 300 shrubs for butterflies and insects, walkways and relaxation areas for children. nic and much more.

The little ones and their parents were able to experience a day in close contact with nature thanks to “TO…Make a tree: PIC-NIC and outdoor activities to play, read, learn, in company”, an experimental initiative, fruit of the collaboration between Unica Reti, the patrimonial company of the 30 Municipalities of Forlì-Cesena, of the Member Municipalities, and of the realities and organizations involved in various capacities in the activities of the Ecological Park, such as Cooperativa Atlantide, Cooperdiem and ISPIRA, designed to raise awareness among the public the potential of the green area and discover the structures already in operation available to families and schools.

It was also an opportunity to present to the public the new area, the third part of the project, made up of two classrooms for ecology and reuse lessons, intended for schools. In the afternoon, the children were able to unleash their creativity with various activities and workshops, such as “To make a tree”, inspired by the text “Drawing trees” by Bruno Munari, “It can be done!” by Gianfranco Zavalloni, “Seeds, soil and love” with the production of seed bombs to promote the biodiversity of flora and fauna. All enriched by agricultural walks, exploratory visits to discover the vegetable gardens in collaboration with Auser, a peasant snack, an animated reading by Alessia Canducci and Tiziano Paganelli.

The day ended with institutional greetings. Present were Stefano Bellavista, administrator of Unica Reti, Stefano Parmeggiani, president of Ispira, Daniele Gasperini design architect, Andrea Quadrifoglio of Cooperativa Atlantide, the mayors of San Mauro Pascoli, Sogliano al Rubicone and Savignano sul Rubicone, Luciana Garbuglia, Tania Bocchini and Filippo Giovannini.
