A lot of visitors have chosen the Terrazza degli Iblei which today closes the celebrations in honor of the Patron Saint San Sebastiano.
During the Octave, from 4 May to today, numerous pilgrims have reached the Sanctuary dedicated to the Holy Martyr.
Today, the day of the octave, the final ceremonies dedicated to the Patron. Don’t miss the procession of the silvery fercolo of the Saint which will be welcomed in Piazza San Sebastiano. A particular moment which, together with the traditional rite of Cunsarbata at the end of the Octave, will make the solemnity of the celebrations as exciting as always for all devotees.
Followed by the San Sebastiano Festival which for years has been the musical event that closes the celebrations.
Ruggero Sardo and Chiara Esposito will present the event with a varied artistic cast, starting with the wildest active folk group that has been the protagonist of the Italian live scene since the early ’90s: Bandabardò with Cisco Belotti.
Not least will be the performance of BNKR44, the collective that has been becoming popular in recent years, thanks also to the success of Sanremo Giovani in 2023 and the success of Governo Punk launched at the last Sanremo Festival.
The latter event was successful mainstream the last artist to perform tonight, the multifaceted Rosa Chemical with his Made in Italy.
