The sirens of ambulances and firefighters broke the silence this night in Ossona, due to a bad road accident that occurred in via Piave, on the corner with via Patrioti. From the first news received it seems that the young man, who is from Ossona, crashed into the wall of the corner house. The call to the 112 operations center arrived at 3.44am.

The Inveruno firefighters, an ambulance from Arluno volunteers, who went out in code red, and a medical car from the Milan AAT were sent to the scene. They were reached by the mobile radio of the Abbiategrasso police who investigated the accident. Luckily, once on site and after initial treatment, the transport code was lowered to a yellow code, a minor emergency which also indicates that the injuries sustained in the accident are less serious than initially feared.

The ambulance transported the boy to the emergency room of the Niguarda hospital, where an interdisciplinary medical team specializing in major trauma operates, at 6.16 this morning. Further information on the conditions of the injured person and the circumstances of the accident will be given later, as soon as they are verified.
