Less and less a construction site, more and more a place of welcome. The transformation is now well underway and we are starting to glimpse what is to come. Cr2 Sinapsi is no longer just an idea or a project on paper, now has walls and ceilings, the systems have been completed, the spaces defined, the light and greenery look out from the windows towards a place of stimulation and hope. A construction site, the one in the Morbasco park, which is not only a work of physical transformation, but also a change of heart and mind, towards a more inclusive future.
“We are almost there – underlines the president of the Occhi Azzurri Foundation, Filippo Ruvioli – on June 1st we will have the Cherry Festival like every year and it will be a moment to share with the citizens and with those who will participate in the party the partial, but now practically definitive, point of arrival of the construction site. The construction site will be finished, we will have the property usable and it will already be partly furnished, I hope also already completely covered, otherwise a small piece will be missing. But we’re here now, with the aim of opening the business from September 21stwhich is another significant date for us: It’s Orlando’s birthday; we will open the ball with his birthday, with the inauguration of the Center and from that moment we will be active at full capacity”.
But in the meantime the swimming pools are already functioning and many details of what will be visible can already be seen: “Yes, we’re just doing the finishing touches and we are testing the facilities, the swimming pool, the therapeutic pools, we are testing that everything works as as must and in the finishing phase there are also floors, coverings, false ceilings, plates”.
An emotional moment for Ruvioli who is witnessing the realization of Occhi Azzurri’s dream: “I am now concentrated on finishing the construction site, therefore the satisfaction is great for the fact that we managed to put the project on the ground. Now another sentence opens, that of the creation of services, we will rely on Cosper because he has always accompanied us here, for the role socio-educational. For the part health clubinstead we are creating a group of professionals who will be guided by Guido Pedrazziniour medical director, together with Federico Pedrabissi who is our director educational partner and clinical director and we are involving a lot of people because in any case it will take a lot of energy to give complex answers to the complex needs of families like mine“.
