Geolier’s new single “El Pibe de Oro” (Warner Music Italy) was released today, May 10, on all digital platforms, accompanied by the video clip directed by Matteo (baglyo) Baglioni.
The title of the song, “El Pibe de Oro”, is a clear reference to Diego Armando Maradona, Argentine football legend and symbol of Naples. It is no coincidence that the single was released on May 10th, the anniversary of Napoli’s first championship won in 1987.

A summer tour not to be missed
The release of the new single also marks the start of Geolier’s summer tour, produced by Magellano Concerti. The tour will start on June 15th at the Messina Stadium and will end on August 16th at Red Valley. Among the most important stages, Rock In Roma (28 June), the Nosound Fest in Servigliano (29 June), the Lucca Summer Festival (5 July), Fiera Milano Live (6 July), Sonic Park in Stupinigi TO (12 July ) and Oversound Music Festival in Gallipoli (12 August).
One success after another
Geolier is back from a 2023 full of successes. His latest album, “Il courage”, was certified six times platinum and ranked first in the ranking of the most listened to albums of 2023 in Italy on Spotify and in the Top Album FIMI 2023. With 65 platinum and 25 gold records to his credit, Geolier placed first in the Top 10 Artists in Italy and third in the Top 10 Videos in Italy with “Come voli” in the VEVO year-end charts.
A 2024 dedicated to music
The year 2024 began with Geolier’s participation in the 74th edition of the Sanremo Festival with the song “I p’ me, tu p’ te”, certified triple platinum by FIMI/GfK Italia. The song achieved great success, debuting in the Top 50 Global and at the top of Spotify’s Top 50 Italy chart and Apple Music’s Top 100 Italy chart, later also entering the Billboard Global 200.
In March the single “L’ultima Politica” was released as a duet with Ultimo, currently certified platinum and still second in the FIMI Top Singles Chart.
With the new single “El Pibe de Oro” and the upcoming summer tour, Geolier confirms himself as one of the most important and loved artists on the Italian music scene.
