On May 14th from 4.30pm to 6.00pm there will be a meeting on the figure of Maria de Unterrichter Jervolino, Constituent Motherat Common Space. They intervene Rosita Viola (councillor of the Municipality of Cremona), Marzia Maioli, Mariasilvia Mussi And Franca Zucchetti (coordination of Democratic Women of Cremona) e Vincenzo Montuori (city coordinator Anpi Cremona). The event integrates and concludes the Le 21 Constituents projectpromoted last year by the Department of Social Policies, Fragility and Equal Opportunities of the municipality of Cremona.
“A woman of character and a politician of rank”, the “Democratic Women of Cremona” explain in a note, “Maria de Unterrichter was chosen by the Dem Coordination, as well as for her contribution to the Constituent Assembly, for her political and civil commitment attentive to the requests and training opportunities that could improve the role of women in the post-war period and social well-being for all both from a working point of view and for the purpose of collaborative secular and religious personal interactions, towards effective world peace.
Due to his profile in the pedagogical field, at the head of important global organizations for pre-school education and for teaching new educators, in particular as President, from 1947 to 1975, of the Montessori Opera, a profitable connection was deemed possible with the current Cremonese school reality and with the pedagogical experiences that characterized our territory in the previous century.
In this context, full of positive educational experiences and policies and consolidated welfare, as the Municipality of Cremona has been able to achieve in recent years, this cultural event could not be missed, enhancing, in parallel, precisely, the projects expressed in this sense .
May 14th will be a moment of meeting and presentation of one of the key figures of our recent history, for possible further in-depth analysis, but above all for due recognition to those who with foresight have been able to conquer and allow us a democracy of life and values that we must defend and maintain.”
