Fire in Crosara, the wooden roof of a house on fire. Firefighters at work

Probable origin fromphotovoltaic system installed on the roof of a house Crosara – hamlet in the hills around Marostica – for a fire on which several teams have been working since early Friday afternoon fire fighters. A total of 12 firefighters at work from 1.30pm today.

A massive intervention by the emergency personnel of 115, in order to prevent the flames, fueled by the roof built in wood, spread to the rest of the house. A race against time that was successful, at the end of the shutdown operations facilitated by the use of the ladder truck supplied with the body.

The location of the intervention was via Sisemol today and it was confirmed that there was no news of anyone injured during the fire emergency or poisoned. Firefighter teams from Bassano del Grappa were sent to the scene and then, in support, from the provincial command of Vicenza. The deployment of emergency vehicles was impressive, with two fire engines, a tanker and a ladder truck, useful to avoid, as already mentioned, a larger fire which risked affecting the entire building.

Part of the wooden covering on the roof was therefore destroyed, as well as the photovoltaic system installed on which further investigations will be ordered to better understand the causes of the emergency which would have originated from there, suddenly and without previous signs of malfunction. The final phase of reclamation and a half safely it continued throughout this afternoon.
