NOLE – The usual annual training meeting organized by the local police force of Nole and Infopol on the topic of “drug substances in urban areas” took place on Tuesday 7 May 2024. The topic covered by two absolute experts on the subject, the deputy commissioner Giuseppantonio Maggi and the chosen assistant Erika Sala of the local police force of Monza, saw the attentive participation of more than 130 local police operators also coming from other regions, as well as some department commanders of the Carabinieri, welcome guests of the day, such as the commander and deputy commander of the Mathi station.
«It may have been the purely operational approach which concerned both the aspects related to administrative violations and those of criminal relevance, treated in detail, but I certainly enjoyed the day, I received appreciation from numerous fellow Commanders and operators, who I toured both to the speakers and to Dr. Compagnoni of Infopol – comments the commander of the local police force of Nole Marco Ortalda – We started almost as a bet three years ago with a meeting attended by around eighty officers, I would never have thought that after just three years we would have reached today’s numbers.” The Nole police force made the hall and equipment available, including a screen suitable for the latest generation rear projection, which allowed people sitting furthest from the stage to follow the discussion, thanks to its generous dimensions.
During the day, an interesting practical demonstration of the search for substances by two dogs from the canine unit was also held. «Thanks also go to the many sponsors present, who presented their products, which allowed the day to be free – concludes Marco Ortalda – As usual, at the end of the conference, the speakers were given the “crest” of the Corps of Local Police of Nole. The large participation was certainly due to the topicality of the topic, we are already thinking with Infopol about the next edition, hoping to achieve the same success”.
