I have something to tell you, The DIRFloortime model and the indispensable needs of children.
DIRimè Italia APS ETS (www.dirime.com) organizes a meeting, open to all and with free admission, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Association, in CALAMBRONE (PI), on 18 May 2024 at 10.00 am, at the IRCCS STELLA Foundation MARIS, Viale del Tirreno, 341.
The meeting, organized by Doctor Roberta Nencioli, DIRimè Regional Representative for Tuscany, in collaboration with the IRCCS Stella Maris Foundation, is aimed at making the association, its mission and its activities aimed at families, teachers and childhood professionals in the socio-health and educational-preventive fields.
The following will speak at the meeting:
-Doctor Roberta Nencioli, DIRFloortime certified speech therapist, DIRimè contact person for the Tuscany Region,
-Dr. Alice Mancini, Child Neuropsychiatrist IRCCS Stella Maris,
-Dr. Angela Cosenza, Child Neuropsychiatrist IRCCS Stella Maris,
-Dr. Sara Calderoni, Child Neuropsychiatrist IRCCS Stella Maris,
The meeting will be moderated by Doctor Raffaella Tancredi, Child Neuropsychiatrist, Director of UO3 IRCCS Stella Maris, Honorary Member of DIRimè Italia.
On the occasion of the events to celebrate the Association’s tenth anniversary, which took place in Turin in recent days, DIRimè received a message from the Minister for Disabilities, the Honorable Alessandra Locatelli
The DIRFloortime model is a scientific model that includes evidence from psychology, educational sciences and neuroscience, precious for helping the person in his family, at school, in everyday life with a personalized and non-standardized approach. DIRimè proposes an innovative perspective on supporting growth and offers a multidisciplinary network of services, free inclusive projects, DIRFloortime® training and scientific dissemination.
In 2022 DIRimè won the international “DIR Award” from ICDL Institute, the American parent company of DIRFloortime, as the best DIRFloortime reality in Italy and among the 5 best in the world.
