How do you explain Sassuolo being there floundering, after beating Inter twice and Juve once?

«It happened to me too last year at Spezia: we beat Milan and Inter and then lost to Cremonese and other lower-ranked teams. Against the big teams it’s easier to find motivation and maybe they underestimate you.”
How do you explain the decline of a player like Samardzic?

«Not being inside the environment it is difficult to explain. The fact of having been one step away from Inter or in any case compared to other big names may have influenced the boy who nevertheless has great qualities. But it’s not just his fault: the whole team never found the right pace.”
