Toti, meanwhile, would be determined not to answer tomorrow in the preliminary hearing to be held before investigating judge Paola Faggioni.

“Incoming documents are the same ones that tell us: nothing is contested in relation to facts that are absolutely not covered by the law which requires that everything takes place in the most transparent way possible and so it was” explains Savi. “And we also have the opportunity to demonstrate that this money was all spent for political needs related to the activities of the president, of the people who worked with him or who had political connections with him. There was no anomaly in the spending , neither in a personal capacity, nor in any other capacity”, concludes the defender.
