Provedel and Mandas, one too many, writes Il Messaggero on newsstands this morning. With Provedel’s injury, the Greek, who arrived last summer for 750 thousand euros, took the lead by playing all the big matches of the last two months, collecting four clean sheets. His price has risen and he has ended up in the sights of the City universe and beyond. It expires in 2028, he earns around 200 thousand euros, but there will soon be a meeting with Lazio to define his future too.
The fate of Mandas is obviously linked to that of Provedel in June. Lazio believes so much in their Friulian number one, they have adjusted his contract to 2.4 million until 2027, but the sirens from abroad are increasingly louder. In the Premier League, Manchester United have been monitoring him for some time: he arrived for 2 million from Spezia, if offers of 25-30 were to arrive he could be reluctantly sacrificed to focus on the 22-year-old Greek.
Juventus is also on Provedel, if they don’t get first choice Di Gregorio. An incredible game of puzzle could be unleashed between the posts.
