Teatro del Gusto closes at the rate of 500 visitors a day, the Naples gamble is won

Fifteen hundred attendances in three days. The first Neapolitan edition of Teatro del Gusto, the artisanal wine and food festival, which took place from 4 to 6 May in the Quartieri Spagnoli of Naples, ends successfully.

Over one hundred wine producers from all over Italy had around 500 labels tasted, twenty chefs animated the continuous cuisine – an idea by Mario Avallone – with dozens of dishes continuously made available to the public. Quality food and wine, natural products, a new, innovative and traditional idea of wine and nutrition linked to roots and territory. Events, seminars, workshops and masterclasses completed a three-day program which brought an average of 500 people per day to the exhibition spaces and the great attention of the world of quality wine and food.

“After two editions in Ischia, we arrived in Naples, for a test that was difficult and exciting – he comments AnnaMaria Punzopresident of the Teatro del Gusto association and creator of the event -. Offering quality, natural, artisanal wine and gastronomy, attentive to sustainability and values is never easy.

It is a profound, selective and complex message, which however found great attention in Naples. We are satisfied and consider this edition only the starting point of a path that we intend to follow, taking Teatro del Gusto, with its idea of community, with its network of producers and enthusiasts, onto yet other paths, with new exhibition and communication proposals , information and meeting”.
