The second weekend of the event will take place on Saturday 11th and Sunday (12th May). Live Capannori promoted by the municipal administration and coordinated by councilor Lucia Micheli, to give citizens and tourists the opportunity to discover the many landscape, naturalistic and architectural beauties of the area through group visits with free service of tourist, environmental, equestrian and mountain guides bike to some of the most significant and evocative places in the area.
New to the 2024 edition is that of dedicate each of the four weekends (until 26 May), to different types of tourism, in order to broaden the offer for those interested and liven up and make this cultural and tourist proposal more dynamic. The second weekend is dedicated to female tourism (Saturday 11th) with a visit, open to all, to two villas in the area with two women at the top, to enhance female entrepreneurship and cultural initiatives and pet tourism (Sunday 12th) with walks and visits in company of their pets.
At the end or beginning of each excursion, it is scheduled an optional tasting of typical products in local farms, farms and cellars, with the aim of promoting local products and valorising Capannori producers. The management of reservations is entrusted directly to the guides.
The program
For female tourism, a visit to the park and the palace is scheduled on Saturday (11 May) at 10am Villa Torrigiani and visit with tasting to the Conserve laboratory with a tourist guide. Reduced entry for residents of Capannori: 10 euros for the park (8 euros reduced), 15 euros for the park and palace (13 euros reduced). Optional tasting 12 euros at the Conserve laboratory. Sunday (12 May) dedicated to pet tourism starting from 10am with a walk together with our four-legged friends atNottolini aqueduct and Golden Words with tour guide. Mandatory entrance fee reduced to 9 euros for the park only (plus 6 euros for visits to museums with small dogs in your arms or in a carrier).
