Jacopo Cirillo of Orta Nova died

His name was Jacopo Cirillo and he was originally from Orta Nova. The twenty-year-old who died on Tuesday 7 May at the Tor Vergata Polyclinic in Rome due to the consequences of a tragic accident that occurred three days earlier, around 9pm in via Casilina. RomaToday reported the news.

The boy was hit by a car driven by a 22-year-old while he was crossing the road. His condition immediately appeared serious. Urgently transported to hospital, Cirillo was operated on and kept under guard. His existence was extinguished forever last Tuesday.

The body – Romatoday colleagues report – has been made available to the judicial authorities. Jacopo Cirillo had moved to the capital for study reasons.

The tragedies of the Foggia people in Rome

The tragedy is coupled with the tragic death of Marco Totaro, the 31-year-old cyclist from Foggia who was hit on the Via Aurelia Sud, just outside Rome, in November 2022 by a pirate car while he was riding his bicycle.

In the same year, in dramatic circumstances, Antonio Pastore, a 55-year-old carabiniere originally from Lucera, lost his life, hit and killed while jogging on the Pincio.

A few years earlier, in 2019, Francesco Ginese, 26, lost his life in the capital due to the consequences of an accident during Rome’s white night.

Simone Nazzaro, who died in a car accident on the Lungotevere dei Cenci in Rome in 2015, was also the same age.
