Saturday 11 May, starting from 5.00 pm, Palazzo Cupani
The preliminary phase of the General Urban Plan has begun with the publication of theAddress Act of the PUG on the website of the Municipality of Mirto, citizens and the interested public have already had 30 days to produce their observations but the process will conclude on Saturday 11 May (starting from 5.00 pm) with a participatory meeting which will take place to Cupani Palace of Mirto in which the whole community is invited to participate.
As is known pursuant to art.6 of LR n.19/2020 “Regulations for the governance of the territory” – declares Mayor Maurizio Zingales- it is envisaged that in the formation of the Plans, participation is guaranteed to all public and private entities as well as associations and organisations, be they natural or legal persons, through active listening to needs, public debate on the general objectives, wider publicity of planning documents and documents. In this sense we are more than convinced that our community (in its largest components, i.e. economic operators, companies and professionals) will be able to have their say – concludes the Mayor Zingales in the prestigious setting of Palazzo Cupani – actively participating in the planning process which is already an instrument with great potential for the future of Mirto and the Nebrodi”.
In addition to the representatives of the professional associations (architects, engineers, agronomists, geologists and various technical professionals), citizens and owners of local companies are also invited to participate in the public participation meeting for the drafting of the General Urban Plan (PUG). , the trade associations, the civic networks present in the Mirto area and in the wider Nebrodi area.
The designer and professionals in charge of specialist sector studies will also be present at the event.
