Frignano, disability: Nazaro Pagano receives the Golden Lion

An award for commitment to solidarity and inclusion for disabled people. President Nazaro Pagano received him in Rome, at the headquarters of the Anmic (National Association of Civil Mutilated and Invalids).

Of Caserta origins, from the small town of Frignano, Pagano has always been involved in social work and recently participated with the Disability Guarantor of the Campania Region in an important initiative in support of the Regional Higher Institute for the Blind in Naples. The Golden Lion of Venice was handed over to him by the president, Sileno Candelaresi. Godmother of the awards ceremony and host of the initiative was Luz Adriana Sarcinelli.

On the occasion of the award ceremony, Pagano was also awarded the role of president of the Golden Lion for entrepreneurship. The long history of the prestigious recognition born in Venice in 1947 and traditionally linked to art and cinema, is enriched this year with an award for commitment to solidarity and the inclusion of disabled people.
