In Castel Bolognese a public meeting on Anarchy and Christianity

There “Association of friends of the Armando Borghi Libertaria Library”in collaboration with “Luigi Dal Pane” Municipal Library and with the patronage of Municipality of Castel Bologneseorganizes on the day of Saturday 11 May 2024, starting at 3pmat the Exhibition Room (adjacent to the Church of Santa Maria della Misericordia), Via Emilia Interna number 90, a public meeting on the theme “Anarchy and Christianity”.

Andrea Babini (Forlì, 1977) he graduated in Philosophy (Bologna, 2001) and in Anthropology and History of the Contemporary World (Modena, 2019). He attended a master’s degree in Religious Pluralism (Bologna, 2021).
He is currently pursuing a PhD in Religious Studies at the University of Urbino. Raised in a Catholic family, he attended the parish; he was part of ecclesial associations and movements and
he participated in groups of “Catholic dissent” and reflection on the Scriptures. At the moment he considers himself “religious”. He frequented the world of anarchism for some time: although he never became a “militant”, he came into contact and collaborated with various libertarian realities. He shares and tries to implement the principles, ideals and practices of anarchy.

Federico Battistutta (1956) he has lived on the Emilian Apennines for years. Essayist and independent researcher in the field of contemporary religion, he deals in particular with frontier issues (interreligious dialogue
and intercultural, ecosophy and ecospirituality, gender and queer theologies, post-theism and religious atheism, secular spiritualities and modified states of consciousness). He collaborates on collective volumes and sector magazines
Italian and foreign. He published the essays: Heretic Triptych. Interrupted paths of the religious twentieth century (2005), The canticle of creatures. Loyalty to the earth and salvation of man (2010), Truth and the path. Religious dialogue
and religiosity of dialogue (2012), No man’s land. Praise and criticism of the contemporary religious (2012), Stories of Eden. Perspectives on ecotheology (2015) and Mystical Politics. Horizons of post-religious spirituality
(2022).

Alfredo Taracchini Antonaros (1950), writer, journalist and playwright, lives in the Marche region. Born in Eritrea he has been in Italy since the age of six. After graduating in Bologna he was director of the theater for many years
Municipality of Imola, of various festivals and exhibitions. He curated, alongside Maurizio Scaparro, the first three editions of the Venice Carnival, and with Giorgio Gaslini all the editions of the Europa Jazz Festival in Imola. He has
collaborated for many years on Roberto Roversi’s theatrical projects. He was an author and presenter for Rai and the Raisat Gambero Rosso television channel and a UNESCO consultant for the Caribbean and Latin America. Fin
since 1984 he was one of the first Italian narrators to pose the theme of African emigration, exile and uprooting in his novels, published by Feltrinelli. As an essayist he dealt with evolution
social and cultural aspects of wine, food and nutrition. He has published texts for various publishing houses, and articles in numerous newspapers and magazines, in Italy and in other European and Latin American countries. He takes care
currently to urge correct information on autism, disarmament and peace.
