Another tragedy at work in Campania
A 54-year-old worker, Domenico Pierbenansi, originally from Frattamaggiore, died after a ten meter fall. The accident occurred in the industrial area between Gricignano and Cutein province of Caserta. The man was on the roof of the shed of a window and door company when, according to initial reconstructions, the attic gave way. From initial findings it seems that the 54-year-old had no contract and was working on behalf of another company, based in Orta di Atella.
Rescue services were activated immediately. But, unfortunately, the doctors could not help but confirm the man’s death. The magistrate on duty from the Naples North Prosecutor’s Office also arrived at the company. Meanwhile, after the magistrate’s green light, the body was transported to the forensic medicine institute in Caserta for an autopsy.
