According to a report by The Verge, Microsoft is reportedly considering a change in strategy to make the Xbox division more sustainable in the next future. Among the next steps there would also be to bring other games to PlayStation 5 and to increase the price of Game Pass.
In particular, Microsoft is thinking of reconsidering its Game Pass strategy, publishing many more games on other platforms (ideally PS5 and Nintendo Switch/Switch 2) to ensure further revenue. It also appears that the company is considering it a possible increase in the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and there seems to be a lot of discussion about the possibility of making the new Call of Duty games available on Game Pass from launch day.
