world championship debut for Dani Munoz with Team Gas Up

Following the fall and consequent injury sustained last race weekend in Jerez, Bo Bendsneyder will not be able to take part in the Moto2 French Grand Prix scheduled this weekend on the Le Mans circuit (timetables here). Consequently, the Gas Up Racing Team has taken action and, alongside Jaume Masia, will field a rider who will thus make his debut in the world championship: Dani Munoz.

The young Spanish driver he already defends the team colors in the context of the FIM JuniorGP, in which this year he competes in the Moto2 European Championship, and already has two Top 10s under his belt in as many race weekends despite being a rookie in the category. His palmarès is particularly interesting, given that last year he became European champion in Stock 600 dominating the scene far and wide and boasts some good ones also spent in the Moto3 Junior World Championship and in the Red Bull Rookies Cup.

On his social channels, Dani did not hide his emotion for this wonderful opportunity that came as a surprise and just a few days after the European round at Estoril: “This weekend something will happen that I have worked for many years, namely my official debut in the Moto2 world championship. I thank the Gas Up Racing Team for this fantastic opportunity, but at the same time I want to take advantage of it to wish a speedy recovery to Bo Bendsneyder, who will certainly come back stronger than before”.
