The journalist of La Repubblica Giulio Cardone spoke to Radiosei to explain the situation linked to Ivan Provedel. After the injury suffered against Udinese, the goalkeeper returned to the squad for the last match against Monza. Now it will be up to Tudor to decide whether to return him to the pitch as a starter against Empoli or whether to still give continuity to Mandas. Be careful of the market, though: the former Spezia player is followed by several clubs in Italy and Europe. Below are Cardone’s words on the matter.
“The Provedel issue and Tudor’s next choices are a particular situation. If he’s well he plays, even if the coach was rewarded by Monza’s final choice in which Mandas did well. I believe that with another full week of training, the starter should return, but I have no certainties and I don’t know if there are transfer issues that could influence. For Provedel there is interest from the Premier League, from Aston Villa specifically, and also a survey from Juventus, but he recently renewed his contract and remains a Lazio asset. I expect him to be able to return from the beginning against Empoli, otherwise it could become one of many cases.”
