Victims due to road accidents do not stop. In this first part of the year we are recording very important numbers and the risk is that we will have an even more serious budget by December. The latest death linked to a collision on one of our roads occurred at Atri hospital.
The victim arrived at the hospital in serious condition. His clinical picture, however, did not improve. Indeed, in the last few hours there has been a worsening and the doctors have only been able to confirm the death. A death that confirms an emergency in Abruzzo regarding road accidents and we will see if in the next few days there will be interventions to put an end to these tragedies.
The dynamics of the accident
The dynamics of the accident are being examined by investigators. According to known information, the victim was on board his motorbike in Silvi when, for reasons yet to be ascertained, he collided with a van. The conditions immediately seemed very serious and for this reason it was decided to urgently transfer him to the Atri hospital. The clinical picture, however, has absolutely not improved and his death was announced a few hours ago.
The Prosecutor’s Office immediately opened an investigation to better clarify the dynamics of the accident. The points to be clarified are still different and in the coming weeks we could have a more certain picture of the clash.
