If your budget is lower there is the legendary Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade. This is an absolute guarantee in terms of engine reliability. The motorbike has surpassed any era, maintaining a unique charm. The innovations were born from experience on the track and a 20 year old model can also be found for €3,000. For 2006/2007 the prices are higher €4,000 – €5,000 (178 HP), while those produced 2008 – 2010 are worth between €5,000 – €7,000 (178-188 HP).
We advise you to buy an old Yamaha YZF-R1. This is an icon that will soon be retired. The values of the first R1s, launched in 1998, are still quite within reach. This is where Yamaha motorcycles are made. From next year the new R1s will no longer be approved for the road and it will be the end of an unrepeatable era for the Tokyo company.
