An urgent and non-deferrable extraordinary maintenance intervention on the main water network by Ireti.
This is the motivation that led the extraordinary commissioner of the municipality of Vado Maurizio Gatto to sign an order to close the state nursery school “Fantasia e Magia” and the municipal nursery “Fragole e Folletti” in via Sabazia.
Last May 6, the Iren group company sent a notice to the Vada Comprehensive Institute which specifies that due to urgent work on the drinking water network, the temporary suspension of water supply was ordered in the time slot between 09:00: 00 and 14:00, in a portion of the area of Via Sabazia, where the nursery and nursery are located.
The Commissioner therefore “considering the impact that the interruption itself has on school activities, due to the impossibility of operating the toilets in the buildings, as well as the canteen and kitchen services, must issue a specific closure order and/or o suspension of teaching activities in the educational institutions of the municipal territory affected by the intervention, in order to avoid the related teaching activities taking place in precarious ‘hygienic-sanitary’ conditions, connected to the temporary lack of water”.
After a note from the Comprehensive Institute and the School Director which highlighted the management difficulties of the school complexes with regard to health and hygiene profiles and considering the particular urgency, the temporary closure was ordered for the entire day of May 9th.
