A very serious road accident occurred on Tuesday evening in the province of Bergamo. A little girl died, four other people involved were taken to hospital for their injuries: among them there is a 9-year-old boy.
Accident in Clusone (Bergamo): the victim is a little girl
The crash occurred just before 11pm, on the former state road 671 in Clusone, near San Lorenzo di Rovetta. The victim is a 5-year-old girl from Castione. She died instantly. It was a head-on collision between two cars, the asphalt was wet from the rain.
The exact dynamics and causes remain to be clarified. The accident involved a black BMW with a man and a woman from Clusone on board and a gray Seat Ibiza with a grandmother, nephew and niece from Castione.
Four ambulances, two helicopters from Brescia and Sondrio and the firefighters responded to the scene. The road was closed to traffic for hours to allow rescue operations. More lives lost on Italian roads: the numbers of deaths in accidents are increasingly frightening. A daily massacre.
