Appointment on May 10th with the Humanamente association
FASANO – It is increasingly difficult to talk about one of the most controversial topics in the medical field, namely endometriosis, a gynecological disease caused by the anomalous presence of endometrial cells normally present in the uterine cavity, in organs other than the uterus, which is therefore the cause of constant pain and suffering in women.
If for many years it was considered an “invisible problem”, today it is right to give this disease the right attention and importance. For this reason, the Leo Club Fasano has decided to organize a meeting on the topic on May 10th. Speakers will be Dr. Marycarmen Barnaba, nutritional biologist and Dr. Sonia Maggi, midwife.
After the debate, also in the presence of the officer delegated to the topic Stefania Maggi, there will be the delivery of the BoxLEO, a service proposed by the coordination of the Apulian Leo 108AB District, which will allow these boxes containing tampons to be placed inside the schools of the Fasano area .
The appointment is therefore for Friday 10 May, 6.30 pm at the Oratorio del Fanciullo. Citizens are invited to participate in large numbers.
