“In line with the objectives set by the club and also by us players. There is certainly some regret for having left a few points along the way, but we gave our all to reach the playoff objective and now we will have to try to finish as best we can to maintain the position we obtained. Personally, for now, it has also been one of my most prolific seasons, but having said that, I have no intention of stopping; in fact, I will try to continue scoring to help the team get higher and higher.”
Who would you give the Golden Ball to?
“I know Pedrocchi and for quality I would give it to him. I know that he dropped to Excellence purely for work reasons, and in fact he is a player who has little to do with the category however”.
What was your best match?
“The midweek return with Base 96 on March 6th. We won 1-0 by a hair’s breadth and beyond the goal, which was the best of the season, I think I gave important support to the team. How did I score? I started off-centre, I jumped the man and kicked around the far post.”
Who is your Idol?
“Honestly, I don’t have a real idol, except that since I was little, being a Juventus player, I really liked Del Piero. He was the flag of the team as well as a striker, so he marked my childhood and adolescence a bit.”
If you won, who would you dedicate this award to?
“I would dedicate it to my family, which includes my partner, my girls, my mum and dad, who always come to watch every match; then to my teammates, for the good season we are experiencing, and also to the club for believing in me.”
