The young man intervened with his team to try to tame the flames that broke out yesterday in the countryside between Palmas Arborea and Tiria, in the Oristano area.
During the operations, Cabras felt ill, perhaps due to the thick smoke he inhaled. Transported to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari, he was hospitalized under code red and transferred to the intensive care unit with a reserved prognosis. This evening the sad news.
