Fight against the mafias, two exceptional guests at the D’Annunzio theatre: the magistrate Catello Maresca and Don Aniello Manganiello for a meeting with local students. The appointment is for Friday, May 10, at 10.30 am.
The event, sponsored by the Lazio Region and the Province of Latina, was organized by the Municipality of Latina and the Officina della Fantasia association, chaired by Antonella Castiello, who has been involved in the area for years for the diffusion of the values of legality among the new generations , with consolidated relationships both with institutions and in school environments.
After the institutional greetings, the initiative will be divided into two parts.
The first concerns the presentation of the book “The State Always Wins”, by the author, Dr. Maresca, which collects the experiences lived at the DDA of Naples.
In the second part, the magistrate Maresca and the anti-Camorra parish priest Don Manganiello, president of the Ultimi association, will open a debate with the students for a possible future without the mafia.
The conversation will be moderated by journalist Daniele Vicario.
“The anti-mafia culture, in particular its diffusion among the new generations, is a clear and strong value – specified the mayor Matilde Celentano – to which the administration I represent makes absolute reference. Friday’s event will be an important opportunity to interact with the new generations and spread, through the testimonies and reflections of the protagonists directly involved, the value of the anti-mafia culture and the fight against organized crime”.
Also participating in the initiative will be Ance Latina and Unindustria, the president of the Latina Bar Association, Giovanni Lauretti, and the president of the Provincial Student Council of Latina Giovanni Ciaramella.
