PERUGIA – A drama and an investigation. Because a boy who would have turned 28 in ten days dying on a motorbike is a tragedy. But also because there are elements to clarify, to exclude or on the contrary to frame in the context of that drama.

THE ASSESSMENTS

For this reason, the Prosecutor’s Office is coordinating the investigations of the traffic police, to understand whether or not any profile of responsibility can emerge in the tragic accident that happened to Josuè Salazar on the night between Saturday and Sunday. Not so much in relation to the fall from the motorbike, but for what may have happened in the moments immediately following the boy’s loss of control of the vehicle.

The suspicion, yet to be confirmed and for which investigations are underway, is that the young man may have been run over once he fell. Technical investigations linked to the dynamics of what happened in that very dangerous stretch of the Raccordo, the curve towards Ponte San Giovanni right before the entrance to the E45 for those coming from Perugia, which require an inevitable investigation.

A suspicion confirmed in some way, even if the conditional is clearly still mandatory, with the passing of the hours analyzing not only how much the signs left on the road can “tell” but also evidently how much some cameras in the area may have filmed .

According to what we learn, the possible collision would have occurred not only (as already mentioned) after the boy fell on the motorbike but also in a different lane than the one in which the car was traveling with the motorist who therefore, essentially, would be seen crashing into the motorcyclist.

It is therefore clear that not only are certain investigations necessary on the accident but that the autopsy is also fundamental to establish the boy’s causes of death as accurately as possible.

The reason is obvious: to understand whether the cause of the boy’s fall may have been a sudden illness that made him lose control of the motorbike without the possibility of saving himself, or whether the causes of death can be found exclusively in the injuries sustained after the fall . As mentioned, it seems clear that it is essential to cross-reference these data and elements, because in light of what will emerge during the autopsy (which according to what we learn will be arranged and then carried out in the next few hours) also to understand the weight that the investment may have had following the fall.

It must be said that the same cars that were in the area at the time when the young man lost balance on his motorbike immediately sent a request for intervention to 118, the traffic police and the fire brigade.

The investigations continued until the early hours of Sunday, with the road closed for some time and with people “going up” towards Perugia around five in the morning and noticing that the investigators were still working to crystallize the scene in the best possible way. drama.

Josuè had returned to live in San Sisto for a few days with his mother, after spending some time in Ecuador where he was born. His friends tell us how he dreamed of being a mechanic given his great passion for motorbikes.
