Gravina requests a meeting with Minister Abodi

The Federal President Gravina (together with that of Coni Malagò) will ask for a meeting at Minister Abodi to open an urgent discussion. The decision was taken after the meeting with the federal components, in which opposition to the proposal to establish a government agency for the supervision of professional sports clubs was unanimously reiterated,

Following the meeting between the federal components gathered in Rome at the FIGC headquarters, in which unanimous opposition was shared to the project to establish the so-called ‘Agency for economic and financial supervision of professional sports clubs’ as presented in the draft sent last Friday 3 May by the Ministry for Sport, President Gabriele Gravina will ask Minister Abodi to open an urgent discussion on the topic, together with the president of CONI Malagò.

During the meeting, various formal and substantial critical issues were highlighted and the maximum willingness to discuss while respecting the autonomy of sport has been expressed from now on.
