An opinion on Salernitana and the Gyomber championship?
“It’s a shame, a negative experience, nothing worked this year and it’s a shame because it’s a club with great potential, solid ownership, a valid project and a fantastic place. It’s a shame, seeing it go down to Serie B is a shame. It was a shame for him too. a particular year, he suffered from some injuries but he always gave his best. Mandas who recently found space in Lazio?
“A strong player, who had followed more than one club. In Italy he had many interests but Lazio was the fastest and believed in it a lot. Initially he thought about letting him return to OFI Crete on loan, then Sarri decided to keep him. He is a talent, he has established himself and I am happy because it was not easy to fit into such a context. He was good, he has great perspective.”
Can he leave on loan next season?
“We will certainly have to meet again to review a contract made quite quickly, as third goalkeeper. But the player is ready, we will certainly have to talk but let’s see, there are also interests from abroad but we will talk about it with Lazio. We will meet with Lazio for a renewal I think It’s natural, I don’t think Lotito wants to back down.”
What is the main quality?
“He is a very reactive goalkeeper and above all a fantastic boy who wants to grow, he knows how to make this sport his obsession to become one of the best goalkeepers. This can make the difference, he is super explosive on goal, even the coach said so of Sarri. Then he’s good with his feet, he plays a lot of balls and he’s growing. Thanks to Lazio who trusted him and Tudor who continued to use him. He’s so serious that he could even make the twelfth Lazio and we will understand its future.”
