The Comites of Houston communicates in a note on social media that on May 11th from 4.30 pm there will be a meeting with the Consul General of Italy Mauro Lorenzini. The event will be held at the Italian Cultural and Community Center in Houston. You can register by accessing the Houston Comites website. The purpose of the meeting is to allow direct interaction with the Consul General on topics of interest to the community, from Consulate initiatives to consular services. The event will open with a presentation by Comites, during which its important contribution in supporting compatriots, the activities carried out and those currently underway will be illustrated. Subsequently, the Consul will provide an overview of consular services and the fundamental role that the Consulate plays for the benefit of the Italian community. This will be followed by a question and answer session with the Consul General, during which there will be an opportunity to ask your questions directly to the Consul, obtaining informative and valuable answers. The event will end with a light refreshment offered by the Italian Cultural and Community Center. This event – continues the note – represents a unique opportunity to learn more about the Italian Consulate and Comites in Houston and to understand how they can be of support in daily life.
