Honorable mentions to two very interesting works that best interpreted the concept of this edition: “Nature loves to hide”

REGGIO EMILIA – The “cosmography” project of SUOLOcollectivo was awarded last night on the stage of the Off circuit set up in Piazza del Popol Giost, which will be given the opportunity to exhibit a new photographic exhibition in 2025 using the contribution of one thousand euros.

The winning exhibition Cosmografia, exhibited at Marco Sergiampietri’s tattoo studio (in via dei due Gobbi, 1) was born as a reflection by artists of different backgrounds on ecosystems and their inalienability. The organisation, coordinated by Annachiara Rea and Ilaria Gentilini, however awarded two other very interesting projects with two honorable mentions. One went to the exhibition “Not to hide us”, set up in via Roma at number 49 which investigates the revealing possibilities offered by making art. Thus the collagist artist Audiocassetta intervenes on the photographer’s shots Irene Ferri, creating collages on a reflective support. The result is dreamy and highly original works, a reflection of the uniqueness of the two artists.

The other was assigned to Federica Nannini for the exhibition “The failure of objects” set up at Casimiro Essenza (Via Emilia San Pietro, 1/m). The photographer starts from the recovery of photographs of families who were victims of the flood of May 2023 to build a narrative path based on the interweaving of memories and images.
