(Adnkronos) – The train strike continues today, Sunday 5 May 2024, with the staff of the FS Group, Trenitalia, Trenitalia Tper and Trenord who will keep their arms crossed until 8.59pm this evening. The national protest, which began yesterday at 9pm, risks interfering with railway traffic especially today and leading to total and partial cancellations of Frecce, Intercity and Trenitalia Regional trains. The effects, in terms of cancellations and delays, may also occur beyond the end time of the strike. Due to trade union unrest which may lead to cancellations or delays, the FS Group explains in a note, “travellers will be able to request a ticket refund in accordance with the General Conditions of Transport of each carrier, which can be consulted on the website of the individual railway companies.
