The games are over, the mayoral candidate Rossana Cicconi from the ‘United with courage for Castorano’ list presents her team. Among the names of the candidates, that of the outgoing mayor stands out, Graziano Fanesi who leaves the baton to his successor, Rossana Cicconi, 57 years old married, mother of 2 children, nurse and with a long apprenticeship in the political sphere as councilor and vice mayor. “I wish to put myself at the service of others – declares Cicconi – of the country, of the community and of all citizens. We will work on the projects started by the current administration and we are committed to finding new proposals and solutions”. Here are the names of the candidates: Pietro Speca, 58 lawyer, two legislative experiences as councilor and group leader: “A serious and competent team with experience”. Andrea Carlini, 48 years old Roman born in Castorano since 2009, public employee, married with two daughters: “I want to continue what was undertaken by Fanesi”. Giorgia Ciccanti, 24 years old, freelancer in the wine sector, and student of Viticulture and Oenology. “I expect to carry out various projects. I would like to bring children closer to nature.” Nazario Schiavoni, 59 years old father and grandfather, worker, secretary of the Castorano Democratic Party. “I experience the country at 360°, I love it and I put myself on the line. We want to bring the country together and it takes courage, because it’s not easy.” Sara Ciotti, 26 years old, master’s degree, student and committed to civic museums: “We need to revitalize the culture of the country, listening to my peers and their needs”. Roberto Schiavi, 43 year old surveyor, father of a little girl: “This is the first time I am running for office, I would like young people, my daughter, to continue to live in our country”. Marcella Merletti, 54 years old, defines herself as “proudly born in Castorano, a person who identifies with her own territory”, married, works in the administrative field, secretary Pro Loco Castorano: “The way of associationism and volunteering are the driving force of a community that wants to grow”. Cristiano Cicconi, 52 year old trader: “I want to commit myself for my country”. Marika Maoloni 39 years old, worker with a role in the union: “This is not a list, it is a project that looks at the unity that Castorano needs”.
