NARNI Investigations continue into the car accident that took the life of Luisella Pallozzi on May 1st. The two drivers are being investigated.
To ascertain the exact dynamics of the collision and identify any responsibilities, the public prosecutor of the Viterbo prosecutor’s office, Flavio Serracchiani, ordered an autopsy on the body and requested a kinematic consultancy.
Doctor Matteo Scopetti will carry out the autopsy examination, while on Wednesday 8 May at 12, engineer Mario Scipione will begin his activities at the site of the accident. Doctor Sergio Scalise and forensic engineer Gianluca Penta will participate in the expert operations as technical consultants.
According to what has been reconstructed to date, Luisella Pallozzi was on board the Fiat 500L driven by her sister. Head towards Bagnoregio, for a lunch with relatives and friends. Around 1pm the car was passing on the Ombrone road. At the intersection with the Teverina, the collision with a Volkswagen Golf.
A very violent impact that threw Pallozzi out of the cockpit and seriously injured her daughter. Both were transported under code red to the Belcolle hospital in Viterbo.
The doctors’ attempts to save the life of the fifty-four-year-old were useless, and she died a few hours later.
The girl, still with a reserved prognosis, after an initial hospitalization in the Viterbo hospital, was transported by helicopter to the Gemelli polyclinic in Rome where she underwent a delicate surgical operation.
The girl’s boyfriend was also injured and suffered two fractured vertebrae.
Miraculously, the victim’s sister and seventeen-year-old son were almost unharmed, as were the driver of the Golf and her two children who were on board.
