In Liguria a landslide caused by bad weather forced the road to be closed to traffic SS523 Sestri Levante–pass of Cento Croci between Casali and the crossroads for San Pietro Frascati in the municipality of Castiglione Chiavarese (Genoa). The only connection in the Val di Vara remains the municipal road to the hamlet of Campegli. There are no people or vehicles involved. Mayor Giovanni Collorado, municipal staff, firefighters and Anas men and vehicles were on site.
